Participants will learn the basics of composing, exploring the fundamentals of rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and song-writing/arranging. Participants will end the camp with a portfolio of composed works. Snacks will be provided.

Age: 8 years -14 years

Time: 9am - 12:00pm (optional early dropoff at 8:30 for additional $10/day)

Cost: $275 base price

Experience Level: Late beginner/early intermediate. CM level 1+. Participants should be proficient in the following:

• Rhythm reading: 8th notes - whole notes

• Strong reading in treble and bass clef

• Ability to play scales: C, G, D, A, Major, a minor, and recognize key signatures

• Knowledge of Primary chords for the above keys.
