All class start dates are subject to a minimum enrollment of 3 students. Once you register, we will contact you prior to the start date to confirm that the class has met the required minimum enrollment.

Registration Deadline

Registration will close 7 days before the class start date for any classes that haven’t met the minimum enrollment. Be sure to register early to secure your spot!

Toddler Tunes 1 18 mos - 3 years 20 week Course
30 minutes weekly
Toddler Tunes is a 20-week class that gives your toddler a joyful first music experience. You and your child share in a music-making program of rhythms, finger plays, active movement games, keyboard exploration, and singing. Parents participate in class. This class is open enrollment throughout the semester. Classes are not sequential, there are no pre-requisites for TT 2 or 3. Classes may be repeated.

The Music in Me 3-4 years 16 week Course
45 minutes weekly
Music In Me is a dynamic and creative 16-week music readiness program for young children. We emphasize ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities as well as pitch and rhythm awareness. Activities are layered and progressive from lesson to lesson. Graduating students are encouraged to enroll in the More Music In Me Program. Parents participate in class and are guided in follow-up activities. Enrollment is open throughout the semester.

More Music in Me 3-4 years 16 week Course

More Music In Me is a dynamic and creative 16-week program designed to continue developing young children's musical skills. We emphasize ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities as well as pitch and rhythm awareness. Activities build on the foundational skills learned in Music In Me. **Beginners are welcome to register for More Music In Me; Music In Me is not a prerequisite.** Parents participate in class and are guided in follow-up activities. Enrollment is open through week 8.

Harmony Road Book 1 4.5 - 6.5 years 20 week Course

In this 20-week program, students learn basic music & piano skills through singing, rhythm, movement, ear training, keyboard activities, solo & ensemble performance. Students learn keyboard geography; note reading and writing; note/rest values while developing hand responsiveness and beginning musicality. By the end of the semester, they can play the piano hands separately and perform a class ensemble. This first semester sets the foundation for advancing skills taught in the next three semesters of the curriculum. Parents participate in class.

Keyboard Prep 1 is an 20-week program created for beginning students ages 8 to 11 who have little or no previous musical training. Students learn basic music & piano skills through singing, rhythm, movement, ear training, keyboard activities, solo & ensemble performance. Students learn note reading, writing, playing and note/rest values while developing hand responsiveness and musicality. They begin playing the piano hands together by the middle of the semester and chords by the end of the semester. This first class sets the foundation for advancing skills taught in the next two 20-weeksemesters of the curriculum. Parents participate in class.

Keyboard Prep 2 8-12 years 20 week Course

Keyboard Prep 2 is a 20-week program for students who have completed Keyboard Prep 1 or have equivalent piano skills. Students build upon the skills learned in the first level, exploring more complex rhythms, playing hands-together at a faster tempo, and introducing the use of simple chords in accompaniment. The program continues developing note reading, writing, and performance techniques while reinforcing musicality and hand independence. Parents are encouraged to participate in class, creating a fun and engaging learning experience. By the end of this level, students are prepared for the next step in the Harmony Road curriculum.
