The Lessons
Your trial lesson is free—we want to make sure it’s a good fit for you and the singing teacher!
Lessons are weekly in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute increments, based on preference and teacher recommendation.
There are 47 lessons per year. Tuition is divided into 12 monthly payments for your convenience.
Students receive an assignment sheet to guide in at-home practice. Parents of students are welcome to sit in on all lessons.
Performance opportunities
Recitals are held three times a year at Halloween, February, and in early June. We maintain a postivie, encouraging and supportive environment to help students build confidence and conquer their fears in order to share their gifts. Additional performances, including competitions, are available with xome teachers. Our students have performed and received honors and awards in the MTAC Baroque Festival, Memorial Scholarship Recital Competition, MTAC Conventions, and more! Whether you're seeking competitive challenges or celebratory recitals, we provide platforms for you to showcase your hard work and shine as a musician.
Musicianship Classes
Once per quarter, students attend a group class instead of their regular lesson. Group classes cover music theory, history, appreciation, art, games, and performance practice. They are a great way to build community and cover musical concepts more in depth. Students can sign up for any age-appropriate class that fits their schedule during the week.
Certificate of Merit
Our MTAC certified instructors offer the Certificate of Merit Program to our most focused, driven students. In this 10-level curriculum, students and teachers work together on repertoire, technique elements, sight reading, theory, and ear training. Students participate in an annual performance evaluation and receive a musical assessment, complete a written theory exam which includes an ear training component.

Lessons cancelled with 24 hours’ notice can be made up, up to two make-ups per quarter. All lessons cancelled by teacher will be made up. No refunds for missed or cancelled lessons.
All students are enrolled in automatic billing, for a smooth and easy billing process. Are you with a charter school? Let us know!

Tuition covers 47 lessons over the course of the year (43 private lessons and 4 musicianship classes, or 47 private lessons for adults). Tuition is divided into 12 monthly payments. All students are enrolled in automatic billing for your convenience.
A discount is offered for students taking multiple instruments, or multiple members of the same immediate family taking lessons. A registration fee is due upon beginning lessons, and annually in September. Visit our tuition and fees page for the most udpated information.

Digital pianos and keyboards are acceptable for beginner piano students, instruments must have 88 weighted keys. After 2 years of piano, students are encouraged to acquire an acoustic instrument.
We recommend purchases and rentals at The Music Exchange, and Kline Music. Make sure to mention us when renting or buying!
We will provide all your other books and materials and bill them separately.
