Registration: Private Lessons, Continuing Students

2024-2025 School Year

Before proceeding, please review the following addendums to our Policies, Terms & Conditions that are new this year, effective August 1st. You can review our full Policies, Terms and Conditions here.

  • I consent and authorize Heart Beats Music School to capture, use, reproduce, and distribute images, video, and audio recordings of myself and my child, including his/her/their musical performance or quoted statements, for promotional and educational purposes. I agree that use of such images and recording may personally identify my child by name, unless I notify Heart Beats Music School otherwise in writing, and are without any compensation to me or my child. In participating in Harmony Road Classes, Private lessons, or Summer Camps, I agree to waive and release any and all claims related to the use of these images and recordings. Heart Beats Music School owns the sole copyright to the images and recordings taken by Heart Beats Music School.

  • Tuition Policy (wording change). Tuition shall cover 47 lessons in the course of the school year, from September 1st - August 31st. Musicianship Classes constitute a lesson. Tuition is divided into 12 equal montly payments. Monthly payments will not change if a month has 5 lessons, or fewer than 4 due to school holidays. This will not change the way you are currently being billed, it is merely a clearer explanation of the charges.

  • To maintain and improve our services, Heart Beats Music School will implement a small annual price increase effective August 1st each year beginning in 2025. Tuition and lesson fees will be reviewed and adjusted annually, with new rates communicated by July 1st. This adjustment accounts for inflation, rising costs of instructional materials, and the continuous enhancement of our facilities and programs.

  • During the summer quarter from June 1st to September 1st, students may accrue up to 4 make-up lessons, rather than the usual 2 allowed during the school year. Any lessons canceled by teachers will be made up in addition to the student’s accrued make-ups. If you need to miss more than 4 lessons, we cannot make up additional missed lessons beyond the 4 allowed. If you foresee needing to take a break for a month or more, this is considered a cessation of lessons and requires 30 days’ notice. Taking a break over summer means losing priority for fall lesson times unless you sign up for one of our summer camps, in which case the priority policy for fall scheduling will be waived.
